Peak season vs low season 

The best time to visit La Bombonera is in Spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May). The weather during these shoulder seasons is pleasant, making it a comfortable time to tour the stadium and museum without the heat or the crowds.

  • By bus: Taking a bus is the most convenient way to reach the stadium. Lines 29, 64, 86, and 152 will drop you very close to the stadium. Some buses will drop you right outside the stadium, while others may drop you at 991 Brandsen or at 1855 Don Pedro de Mendoza av., both of which are a four-minute walk from La Bombonera.
  • By car: If you’re driving from central Buenos Aires, you can drive along Av. Ing. Huergo. It’s roughly a 15-minute drive, which can vary based on traffic and on match days.
  • On foot: A short walk from the colorful Caminito Street, making it convenient for tourists exploring La Boca.

    • Brandsen 456 Garage: At just 850 meters from La Bombonera, you can conveniently park your car and walk to the stadium for your tour. 
    • Olavarría 576 Garage: This parking garage is located just 700 meters from La Bombonera, making it close enough for you to walk to the stadium after.

Note: We’d recommend relying on public transport to reach La Bombonera, as finding parking can be challenging, especially on match days.

  • The main entrance to La Bombonera is wheelchair accessible. However, the stadium itself can be challenging for those with limited mobility to access, as the stands are rather steep. 
  • You can bring your guide dogs along to the stadium.

  • Boca Shop: Located inside La Bombonera, you can buy original Boca Juniors merchandise from this store, rounding up your visit to the stadium. 
  • Eureka Records: This record store is located just 2.2km from La Bombonera and is a great place to buy records of your favorite artists—a brilliant souvenir to pick up on your trip to Buenos Aires. 
  • Eliocell Store: This is a book-cum-stationary store in close proximity to the stadium, perfect if you want to buy a souvenir.
